6'2" 205lbs Wide Receiver; Tyler, TX John Tyler HS
Per 247 Sports:
At 6-foot-2, 205 pounds, Miller is a deep threat with speed to burn. As a sophomore, Miller notched 26 receptions for 614 yards — more than 23 yards per catch — and eight touchdowns. A pure athlete, Miller also recorded two interceptions on the defensive side of the ball.
But Miller’s future at Texas is without a doubt at wide receiver. He is ranked as the No. 41 wide receiver in the nation and No. 29 overall prospect in the state, according to 247Sports Composite.
Miller committed to Texas over offers from Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and others. His decision comes just 11 days after earning an offer from the Longhorns and Texas’ last summer minicamp.
“My conversation with Coach Strong after the camp really helped,” Miller said. “I just believed in everything he was saying. He actually made me want to commit there. I believe in the program, and I’m really excited.”
Miller plans to return to Texas for an unofficial visit on July 18. He added that his commitment is “completely solid.”
