I will actually see Cedar Ridge play a few times this year so I'm excited to see how she looks. She couldn't be learning the game from more qualified people with her father being our very own George Washington (sheds even more light on his hiring) but her new HS coach is former Nebraska head coach Angela Beck.

Lashann sounds like she has everything Texas could want in a recruit: elite athleticism, high skill level, high basketball IQ, and the work ethic and high motor that Coach Aston so prizes. [Hey, maybe Coach Washington has some of these qualities also.

]. With her size and skills, she could be on the floor with another elite pg or a guard more comfortable as the shooting guard.

It is interesting that so many well-regarded guards from the state of Texas, 2015, have already committed, spreading themselves out among the Texas schools.

You'll have to help me, I didn't hear her say anything about her not playing this year (do you mean 12-13 or 13-14?) The video said she had to play on the Jr varsity due to transfer rules, but I thought that meant the past 12-13 season. I'm thinking she will be able to play varsity at Cedar Ridge this year, (13-14) but maybe not?
