Best of luck. Who knows what the reasons could be but maybe he saw how the team is working and what would be demanded and felt like somewhere else was better suited for him. Ya never know.
Just want to reply with an analogous situation my niece just went through.
Committed in volleyball to Arkansas last year, but the coach who recruited her moved on to Kentucky (I think - could be a different school, but beside the point anyway). The head coach and new assistant coach at Arkansas didn't feel she would be as good a fit as the now-departed assistant did...Sooo, she decommitted. It was a mutual decision with no hard feelings on the part of any party. She got snapped up by a school much closer to home in the end, and she is happier for it.
I get the feeling that Charlie and Rumph weren't as sold on Bryce as Mack. Fair enough, and best of luck to Bryce moving forward.
