Fourteen players on the roster.
4 seniors; 2 Juniors; 4 sophomores and 4 freshmen.
Pretty good balance between classes.
Good height inside and on the wings.

Sara Hattis not listed, although she is on the updated volleyball roster. She did switch to a hoops scholarship last December/January. Volleyball is at its maximum of 12 scholarship players, not counting Hattis.

I count 15 players on the current VB roster. Does that mean that three players are walkons, two if Sara is on a BB schollie?

Megan Futch and Kat Brooks are definitely non-scholarship players.

When Hattis switched to a hoops scholarship, that opened up a spot for Tiffany Baker to transfer in from Tennessee.

Perhaps local player, Amy Neal, is no longer on scholarship, and Hattis is back on a volleyball-only 'ship. Coach A recruiting Kaneisha Horn means we have to have a ship open should she decide to be a 'Horn.

Looks like a strong, deep roster. And much more experienced this year, which should help a lot. Does anyone know if there are injury issues? Seems like we're going to start the season with everyone healthy; if so, I can't remember that last time that happened. As far as Hattis is concerned I guess there's a good chance we'll see her back after VB season, given that there seems to be a spot open for her. Not really sure how the scholarship scenario works out, or if it's possible to move these around from one semester to the next. But no doubt the staff and coaches have it all under control.

I would think, like last year, Sara coming back in the spring to play WBB, would depend on Coach Elliot on how that will impact her development as a VB player.
