First rankings from Rivals for 2011-12 class released. From my count, Texas has 7 on board, with J. Gray leading the way as our only 5* at #14. He is the #1 rated RB.

You might question Brown & (former)Co's ability to evaluate/develop talent but he/they can flat out recruit with anybody.

There are several on that list we're still in on and favorites for at least Estelle.

Another loaded class for UT.

That is a great number of Texas commits on that list. Estelle, Starts, or Theus would add to that number.

I don't give a **** what their "ranking" or "rating" is... I just want to see them and their teammates with XII Champs rings, and standing on a football field, taking turns hoisting the Xtal Ball.

I'm embarrassed. Only 11 of our 16 even made the top 250. Bluitt, Boyette, Echols, De La Torre and Norman must be reaches that USC or bama would never offer.

These lists used to come out late in the summer. Now they come out so soon I don't put as much value in them.

Kind of in jest regarding 11 (or 12) of 16. I'm pretty sure most everyone would've offered Norman and Echols and probably Boyette. Bluitt and DeLaTorre may never reach that level, but both seem like the kind of kids you should be willing to offer and wait a yr or two to let them develop physically.
