Nice to see Cat get in. I just missed seeing Kim Basinger play as I moved to Austin the fall after she finished playing.

I never saw Kim Basinger play either, but I did meet her a number of years ago. I believe she is an attorney practicing in Austin.

I had never heard the name Basinger until the Hall of Honor release. The first player I recall hearing about, but never saw play, was Jackie Swaim. Nice to see the early stars honored though.

Really? This is what makes an AD worthy of UT's Hall of Honor?

From Plonsky's Bio: Since Plonsky assumed the role of women's AD, the Longhorns have won two NCAA team titles (2005 Outdoor Track and Field and 2006 Indoor Track and Field)

Hard to be optimistic about the overall women's program leadership.
