2010 Chelsea Bass commits to Texas

Since we're losing Raven and Arriaran after this coming season, we definitely need some backcourt players with size/length. Although it seems like 5'10 Tiffany Moore really likes Baylor, it will be interesting to see if/how Bass' commitment affects our recruiting of Moore, who did visit us unofficially last Fall.

Tough to know for sure who else we're recruiting, but I'd assume 5'8 Meighan Simmons of Cibolo Steele is still one of our main targets. Seems like her quickness and penetrating ability would be welcome.

Would love it if we were after 3-point shooting sensation Peyton Adamson of Rockwall. I don't see her on many/any of the major recruiting lists, but her long-range shooting would be welcome when a 3-pointer is needed.
 
Here's a link to a 2008 Hoopgurlz eval on Chelsea. Another player able to play multiple positions and one that will excel defensively. Also updated today to show her verbal to Texas.

Very nice pickup by Coach G. The top talent is starting to trickle in and before you know it we will be getting multiple recruits like this in the same class. It's just a matter of time.

Look at the last paragraph in the article and there is a similar writeup on Alexis Jones, a 2012 target. Sounds like a carbon copy of Chelsea, although she may end up taller since she is 5-9 now. Alexis was at the Texas campus this summer.
