2009 Early Odds

OK, I guess I could spend 10-15 hours on the net going through reports, etc., but I would like to know everyone's opinions on how these 2009 Rivals 100 kids from Texas shape up for Texas. I will list them, and you give me the odds of them coming here now.

1. McFarland
2. Shepard
3. Rollison
4. Loston
5. Blake
6. Mossakowski
7. Brent
8. Ashcraft
9. Whaley
10. Timmons
11. Brockers

Thanks in advance, and I'm interested to get started on next year.

1. McFarland - I think the odds are pretty good he will eventually end up in Austin.

2. Shepard - If he is offered as a QB, I think Texas is in good shape.

3. Rollison - With Gilbert in the bag and a very real chance of landing Shepard, I would say the odds are basically none.

4. Loston - I'd say there's maybe a 25%-30% chance, but that's only if Shepard becomes a Horn. Loston is Shepard's cousin.

5. Blake - I'd say Texas has a 50/50 shot.

6. Mossakowski - See Rollison.

7. Brent - Don't know much about him other than he is very good and really likes ou at the moment. Probably the 2nd best safety in the state.

8. Ashcraft - Is thought to be an ou lean. I wouldn't put our chances more than 20%-25%.

9. Whaley - With not landing Scott, I'd say Whaley is almost a lock to be a Longhorn.

10. Timmons - Know he likes ou. I think we might have an outside shot if we land Shepard.

11. Brockers - Absolutely no idea.

It will be a surprise if McFarland commits anywhere in the coming months, hell take his time with the recruiting process.
Shepard, still have a decent shot even with GG, but hes looking at OOS programs
Rollison isnt really being recruiting by the staff, likely headed out of state.
Loston is probably lower than 20%, we don't have much of a chance unless both Shepard and Timmons commit.
Blake is probably higher than 50% if we offer.
Mossakowski will probably end up playing professional baseball.
Brent Ashcraft and Timmons seem to be ou leans
Whaley said 70% UT
Brockers isn't attending a Jr Day so I dunno how hard the staff is recruiting him, look for us to go after Alex Okafor at DE.

Well i think Whaley is the biggest target cause of needs at RB, but he's basically thought of as a lock since Scott didn't come here

Word is that McFarland is just the kind of kid Mack wants, and one of our biggest priorities at this point, along with Shepard and Whaley. Whaley is a lock IMO.
