maybe, if we're really lucky, this is all just an elaborate plan hatched by the HLSR to lure rascal flatts out on stage, then right before they hit note one, release a pride of starving lions on them roman coliseum style. those are the tickets i'd pay for.

they have to book top 40 type acts because they have to sell 50,000 tickets each night (or more).

so I guess they could have Cross Canadian Ragweed do a set, but those guys can't sell out the horsetrack, so not exactly going to fill up Reliant arena.

the rodeo is a hell of a good time, and even though the pricing has gotten out of control, its still a cool event and one of Houston's unique features.

I remember just a few years ago seeing Hank Williams Jr at the Houston rodeo. It's really fallen on hard times, hasn't it?

They must have let a bunch of yankees or SEC fans onto the board or something.

No REK or Lyle Lovett...usually one of those two plays. They played the same night a while back, and the year before last REK played with Cross Canadian.
