As most of you know, I've always been a fan of Aston Villa. Pulling for Reading, and Fulham, and Everton, and Blackburn, and Liverpool (and a little bit for Manchester United vs. Chelsea)... well that was all a smokescreen. Aston Villa has always been my team. American owner and American goalkeeperS. Yes, I'll be able to cheer on the black and white or green and red, or orange and white, or pink and yellow, or... whatever the hell the color is, knowing that game in and game out there will be an American in goal.

It turns out that Aston Villa actually has some historical significance. It was one of the founding members of The Football League in 1888.
