Finally. I was wondering if Texas would ever put their media guide online. I will miss getting the hard copy in the mail from the basketball office every year, but the web access will be nice.

I fondly remember in the GoBig12 days on Austin360 (and a highest bandwidth of 56k), people were frustrated about not having a football media guide. I offered to scan it and email it to them. A whole horde of people took me up on it, until someone explained to them it was over 500 pages, and that there was no way I was serious.

Now in this day and age, an online media guide makes some practical sense. They're still going to make hard copies, because they've become a recruiting tool, as much as for the media.

UT certainly always seems to be ahead of the curve versus other schools in terms of information available on their website, that's for sure. I'm not sure how much of our fan base realizes how spoiled we --- or the media that covers the shool --- are in that regard.

They were intentionally behind the curve in this regard. I assumed they figured they would sell more copies that way (and they probably did).
