In one of our worst athletic years (to TEXAS standards), here's how we did against the rest of the Big 12. Counting every single sporting event in the Big 12 including tournaments.
TEXAS had a winning record against every school and below are the percentages against them. A&M and OSU gave us problems this year, but we still took care of them for the most part.
A&M - 54.5%
OSU - 56.0%
NU - 68.1%
TT - 69.5%
BU - 71.4%
OU - 72.0%
KU - 72.7%
CU - 73.3%
MU - 77.2%
KSU - 78.9%
ISU - 89.4%
We were second to A&M in number of Big 12 championships. They had 8 and we had 7. This was definitely their best athletic year EVER! I think it is good for us for them to be good to have better competition, but we need to get our Women's Basketball, Women's Track (somewhat), and Softball back on track. UT swimming just landed the #1 recruiting class, so that department seems to be on its way.
