For pretend, take away Snead. How far does it fall in the rankings?

And go even further, assuming you can't count players who have left the campus. I mean... wow.

Kindle aside, we got hit hard that year, and it showed with our secondary and other areas last season. These guys will/should be seniors and rs juniors this year: the leaders of the team. Has anyone else truly noticed this, or am I taking crazy pills?

losses from that class:

Snead, Webb, Burnette, Joseph, Ellis, Webber, Henry, Watts.

Playmakers/Contributors from that class:

Jones, Kindle, Chykie Brown, McGee, Beasley, Houston, Norton, Alexander, Earnest, Smith, Lawrence, etc

To me the thing about the 2006 class is that it has taken a long time to develop. Jones is just now ready for his breakout year this year. Chykie and McGee have played well but neither has started an entire season. Chykie looks to finally be the guy this year and McGee has yet another chance to show what he can do. Beasley has been demoted to 2nd string but is still a solid contributor. Houston and Norton were keys last year but had to wait their turns. Alexander, Earnest, Smith have stepped in when needed. The guys at the top of this class should be great this year but it has taken 2-3 years to get to that point.
