yeah, a lot of things happened to that class. Sounds like Earnie isn't coming back although she has said that she will wait until later this summer to make that decision.

That class never accomplished everything we fans expected from them. But they showed a lot in finishing the way they have, returning Texas back to the NCAAs. And it's not over this year. I am very proud of the way they have represented Texas.

That article about sums it up. Because life happens I hope all student athletes also take a long hard look at the academic side of a school. You never know what might happen but at least you will have a good education from a great school.

Hopefully those who make the $$$ are smart enough to put some aside so that they can go back to school should they suffer an injury. If I were an elite athlete who had the opportunity to turn pro early I would do it in order not to risk an injury at the college level that would prevent me from making a million or two. I could always go back to school after making a few mil.

Article should have also mentioned "Broken Hearts".... for us fans who had such high expectations from the #1 recruiting class of 2005.
