20/20 on that Killer guy

I can't believe there isn't a post about the 20/20 episode where they taped that Vander Sloot guy admitting what he did to the girl in Aruba. Did I miss it somewhere? I looked here and on the WM.

Amazing footage of him blabbing. Hard to believe he was that stupid and mean.

I cannot believe this is not news. I remember bitching about how over-reported it was in 2005 (missing white woman phenomenon). Now the guy confesses (coldly and arrogantly), and it's not even on Drudge? I feel like I am on crazy pills.

I still think he wasn't completely truthful in the confession.

Why in the world, if you did absolutely nothing wrong, and she just went into a seizure, either from an unknown physical condition, or excessive alcohol (or whatever, as long as it wasn't caused by him), would you not call (the equivalent) of 911?????

Why, if you did nothing, would you call someone and look to dispos of the body?

Sorry, I believe he did something, and that his confession still isn't complete.

I was wondering the same thing, Battleship.

That guy is a complete POS. I could not believe how cold he was during the confession. The way he referred to her as "*****", the way he laughed and bragged about it. He couldn't care less what happened to her. It made me absolutely sick. And I agree that there may be more to it than he confessed.

What an immoral, heartless bastard. I hope he will pay.

he is definitely a piece of ****, but there is no law against being a piece of ****.

surely they could get him for messing up an investigation and getting rid of a body.... but murder.... nope.

It was on Drudge last Friday when they announced that they would be airing it.

Unfortunately, you are right. There is no way you can prove that it was him that killed her. Unless he admits she was alive when he dumped her overboard or admits that he drugged her, he doesn't get the murder charge.

People are terrible.

Girls, watch your drinks when they are being made.

Can he not be convicted and sent to prison for disposing of a body and hindering an investigation? He didn't know for sure if she was dead or alive -- he admits that in the confession.

He acted only to save his own ***, without a thought for Natalie. Which makes me think he probably drugged her. That would explain her going into convulsions.

Oh, he can and probably will be charged. Murder just won't be on the docket.

That has to be just another kick in the ribs to her family. If I were related, I would want murder on the docket.

i must have been the only person in alabama to not watch it.

caught hell for it at work.

I want to know why a family from a very affluent part of Birmingham can't crank out a fews K's and get this kid knocked off.

it can't be that difficult

I saw the program. Very disturbing and I'm sure both tragic and a relief to the parents.

There are some on HF who gleefully supported joran's release a few weeks ago. joran knows the legal system from his 'no body, no crime' father...........hopefully joran will now experience the punishment side of the law.

The wine to the reporters face was perhaps as telling as some of the confession....don't miss that segment.

Remember that the first people accused of the crime were local black men......who fingered them??......joran did. ...

Good for the ex-con who befriended joran and set up the sting.
