2 Days in Italy...

Some friends & I will be in Rome until Wed in early March. I don't have to be in London until Fri. evening that same week...what's a good place where I can spend 1.5 days solo (nightlife, scenery, girls, etc.) I figure places like Naples, Florence, Venice, etc. are all a train ride away. Any suggestions? Thx in advance.

Well, in 2 days in Italia, I don't think you should do anything other than stay in Rome and see the sights there.

Your train ride to Venice/Venezia, Florence/Firenze, or anywhere else is going to take half a day, and you won't see anything other than just "having been there."

There is plenty to see in Rome. Until you have about 3 weeks to spend in Italy to see Rome, Firenze, Venezia, Napoli, Cinque Terra, or other sites -- just stay in Rome if you only have 2 days.

Agreed. Just spend the extra time in Rome where there's plenty to see. Not enough time to justify extra travel time.

Florence is only and hour and a half by train, but you will need 3 to 4 days there. Stay in Rome.
