Diamond (F, left) and Casey (M, right. You could call him 'Case' ;-) need a loving, secure, permanent home, preferably together, since Huskies are pack dogs and these two are probably siblings. They are ~2-3 years of age. They *must* have access to a fenced (6' is best) backyard, since they are natural-born escape artists. They need 1-2 hours of time daily (given their youth and high energy level) outside their yard, be it neighborhood walks or the Riverside (only fenced in) dog park.
These are two very affectionate dogs. Diamond is a kisser, and they both love to snuggle into you (it's an instinct Huskies have). They want to hang out where you are. You wouldn't be their 'owner', but instead their Mom or Dad. These dogs should not live with cats, as most Huskies think cats are sweet...and crunchy. They are good with other dogs, once pack order has been established (Diamond will probably be alpha). These two would need to be allowed in the home, especially in the summer (too much fur).
Diamond and Casey were rescued from the shelter so that we could find them a good home that will understand the benefits and downsides of Husky caretaking, and love them for the rest of their lives. They have already been through about 4 homes in less than 3 years, so we're looking for a permanent lifelong commitment to these two.
