Horns suggested to play the No.16 play-ins --- that's the number one seed overall, right?

I don't think last weed that was the case --- of course, tOSU has number 16 play-ins as well.

Can anyone clarify?

I believe there are four play-in games now. The field has essentially been expanded from 65 teams to 68 teams.

Of course this is just Lunardi's projection anyway.

And there are, ahem, a few games to play until then.

Lunardi has a chat going now.... he said Ohio State had the best profile, and Pitt was his No. 2, so I'm pretty sure Texas was third.

That would be a great regional with a lot of fan interest. Along with Texas, ND and Nova will be very tough outs for anyone.

I think the possibility of having a tournament road through Tulsa, San Antonio, and Houston excites me a little more than the possibility of being a 1 seed.

We should get the Tulsa, San Antonio, Houston road whether we're a one or a two. It would take some sort of disaster (like three more regular season losses) to bump us from the preferred path.
