That was allsome. I did not know the back story on the training partnership and all that... but did watch it when it happened, and pulled for the finish. Couldn't figure out why they buddied up so in delight over their joint finish until later.

Great kicks---I knew both men would have the strongest finishing kicks, and if they were positioned just right either would have a great shot--to go #1 and #2 was great!

Been a long time for the USA to even place in this distance.

Yes, nice to be finally be competitive in the distances.

Hopefully the women can keep it going in the marathon tomorrow; Flanagan and Davila should be legitimate medal contenders.

Rupp & Farah will face off again in the 5000, along with Lagat.
