It is now 19 days until the first pitch. Is anyone ready? I sure am. Let's hope for a warm spring and strong pitching.

Won't even seem like that long ...

We have the Alumni Game this Sunday, inter-squad scrimmage the following Sunday.

Opening Day will be here before we know it.

Can't wait.
 
Yeah, I too can't wait for basebll to start. With the exasperating unfairness of everything that happened at the end of the football season that we could do nothing about, and now with the less-than-inspiring seasons that both the basketball teams are having, I just need something to stop the frustrating period that is becoming entirely too long.. Come on boys, let us start a great baseball season!!

Grrrr....

It's supposed to be in the 70's this weekend, but we can't start the season because the NCAA says it's not fair to Michigan State.

Why the hell is NCAA softball allowed to start on Friday?

Is it not as cold for the northern softball teams?
 
title ix doesn't protect yankee women from weather i guess.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
(tentative)
1 p.m.: Gates open
1-3 p.m.: Autograph session (One item per person, no photos)
1-4 p.m.: Photo opportunity with Bevo
3-3:45 p.m.: Family outfield pitch and catch (mothers, fathers, sons, daughters)
4:10 p.m.: Texas Baseball scrimmage
Post-scrimmage: Running of the bases
