Across the board, TEXAS is on top of the list at every sport in terms of winning Big 12 championships and nationally.
People's opinion is that softball, tennis, women's track and soccer have been non-existent and that the coaches should be fire.
There may be a surprise factor here....so be careful if you want to continue reading.
FOOTBALL: 3 big 12 titles, 1 nc (top 5 to 10 recruiting classes almost every year)...OKLAHOMA-7 titles
MBball: 3 big 12 titles (3 regular, 0 tournament), 1 FF (have had excellent recruiting for years)....KANSAS-17 titles (10 reg, 7 tournament)
WBball: 3 titles (2 regular, 1 tournament), 1FF (had the #1 recruiting class and did nothing with it)....Oklahoma-10 titles (6 regular, 4 tournament)
Softball: 8 titles (4 regular, 4 tournament)...tops in Big 12. 4 or 5 WCWS appearances. DEFENDING champion.
Soccer: 3 titles (1 reg, 2 tournament).....A&M-11 (7 reg, 4 tournament)
Women's Track: 11 Big 12 titles (5 indoor, 6 outdoor). Tops in Big 12. Granted A&M has had success recently, but BEV has her team ranked in the top 10 again.
So......I don't think we should be looking at firing Connie or Bev anytime soon. I know I would like for them to do better as in stop losing to A&M, but they are doing a good job.
For the talent that Football has had and Basketball (both squads)...........really disappointing.
SOCCER and Women's BBALL are by far the worst!!!!!!
