104.9 and blog sites... zero information

After the revamping (new ownership) of Austin's ESPN radio.. 104.9 FM, with limited talking and more music....

The dialog has diminished to little more than E!, MTV, TMZ, Austin social life, eating out, weather channel, kids stuff, general BS and just "talking amongst themselves." I'm not sure Bucky and Erin even realize they are on the air.

I've sauntered through a few free sites... Hornsports, Shaggy, to name a few. Got nothin' There.

What's it all mean? Probably means there are no leaks, no rumors, nothing. So does that mean when we thought there was news.... there never really was any news?

Here we are in the middle of the final run on recruiting, new staff, coach,... and Erin and Bucky are talking Cowboys? NBA. I can count the word Longhorns maybe on one hand. Maybe for the week. At the free sites don't even talk about what's on the paid sites. I have no idea how I'd feel if I was shelling out 9.95.

We wanted a culture change. Got it. Now we don't even have good BS.

I think they should combine their "Classic Hits" and sports talk into a single format of "Classic Sports Talk" and only discuss sports topics from at least 30 years ago.
