100K in DKR

Will 100,000 people fit in DKR with sro, concessions, game staff, etc. I know capacity is supposed to be about 98K, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are that many there for Mizzou. It's time to fill that thing up to the top so plans can go forward for closing in the south end zone too. Make it as big as Ann Arbor.

Well, the 98K generally includes the staff working the game. If they say the crowd is more than 100K, that would mean that they're counting 6K staff and workers for this game. Seems like a tad many.

Let's see here a stud recruit has a choice between playing in front of 45-50 k in stoolwater or 95 k in austin. What's the dilemma? Boone $ can't buy tradition

Allow me to be a contrary.

If somehow Texas wins the NC, I hope the south endzone project gets fast tracked.

did i read that the "semi-permanent" bleachers are going to add 2,000 seats for next year?

Well, I was wrong by less than 2,000. We didn't make 100,000.

In fact I was disappointed, there were quite a few empty seats in the notheast corner next to the Mizzou fans and in the top part of the of the upper deck on the East side.

The semipermanent bleachers will not "add" anything to the current capacity, just replace some of the existing capacity numbers for the temporary bleachers that are already there.

My guess is that all the seats sold out, whether or not a human body actually occupied it. Probably the empty seats were part of the official attendance if the seat ticket was actually sold.

I think some of the students who have tickets for the east side upper deck and that upper deck section in the northeast corner probably end up squeezing into the student sections on the east side lower deck, hence the empty seats where their tickets actually are.
