All-American (the first Longhorn football player to be honored so), team captain 1914. The Horns were 27-4 in his years on the forty including an 8-0 record in 1914.

Lt. Jordan was KIA in a German artillery barrage March 5, 1918 in Lunéville, France while serving his country in the Great World War. He was inducted in the inaugural class of the Longhorn Hall of Honor in 1957.
