Dang I sure hate to hear that. IMO UT baseball fans have benefitted the most from LHN.

 

Top of the 9th, Sam Ardoin playing SS. On the mound is Tole. already has 1 out as of this post.

I wholeheartedly agree. My second favorite sport to watch. There are so many SEC channels and ESPN+, I think we will get to watch all of them next year.

 

Tole ends the game with a k swinging. 11 SO's for the staff tonight and 6 HR's for the offense. 11-0 Texas.

 

UT pitching has now given up 1 run in the past 3 games. Hope we can take that to Norman.

 

Big time series this weekend, we get another chance to prove ourselves.

 

With 13 games left, you have to think Texas needs ten more regular season wins to safely be in the tournament. That means no more brain fart games and no more lost weekends and a big part of that is finding a way to win the series in Norman this weekend. Nice momentum keeper tonight as the Horns head into that huge series with a chance still to save this clunker of a season.

 

So we just needed to bench Pierce to win a Tuesday game?

If we win Friday in Norman and break the Friday curse some eyeballs are going to focus.

That game last night was fun. The stadium was sadly mostly empty, but everyone around us was upbeat, joking and having fun. The team was chirping and talking the whole game which I haven't seen in a long time. Last night is what I remember Texas baseball games being like.

 

Maybe Pierce needs to portal.

 

Keith Moreland's rule-of-thumb has always been that a team needs at least 35 regular season wins to earn an at-large bid to the tourney, and we currently have 25, so that makes perfect sense.

 

Sadly, Pierce is not benched for 10 more games.
