So...to be clear, you expect them campaigning heavily in FL.

 

Recent polling has GOP up +9 in senate races in TX and FL. I don’t see how Dems hold onto senate.

 

So then Republicans can lead the charge of dismantling the Constitution. The Speaker of the House voted against the 4th amendment this week.

I think that will turn in a few months. A lot of moderates don't yet know RFK jr has a lib for a VP and that RFK is for reparations.

 

I'm very suspicious of this. I'm trying to picture the voter who would otherwise back Trump but chooses RFK, and I can't. However, I can definitely picture the voter who would otherwise vote Biden but chooses RFK.

 

Yep. I have my reservations about Trump, but under no circumstances would I consider RFK as an alternative. Yes, he was right about COVID, but broadly, he's a friggin' wingnut.

 

Plus he is for taking everyone's guns and punishing people for disagreeing with climate change.

 

That's why I could see him costing Biden votes. If you're a hardcore left winger who thinks Biden is inept or a sellout or one who's anti-establishment, RFK should look attractive to you.

 

Well, for what it's worth, in Pennsylvania, Biden's numbers are in the high 90, "someone's" are in single digits.
Trumps are in the high 70s, low 80s, "someone's" are in the 30s in many districts. I watched the results come in on Fox.
Someone, I assume Jr., took a larger chunk of Trump voters than Biden's.

This makes me concerned. I sure hope I'm wrong, but I don't think many people know how "out there" JR. is. They know he is anti-vax, and he isn't Biden or Trump.
And I think that's the end of the story for the majority. It isn't helping that Fox has him on several of their shows.

 

Latest Bloomberg poll shows Trump up 10 points in NC and NV and up 6-7 points in AZ and GA. Polls are within MOE for WI, MI, and PA. Trump only needs to campaign in the last 3 states mentioned to win.

 

If the 2020 census wasn’t screwed up, then Trump could win without MI, WI, or PA. He has 268 EV’s now for states where his poll lead is outside the MOE. If he wins the dem-leaning CD in NE, he gets to 269 (tie) and the vote goes to the House. Alternatively NH could put him over the top.

 

I wouldn’t vote for RFK Jr because……

Odd thing I support Biden’s defense of Israel, so somewhat conflicted if this is the sole reason he loses (likely not, but somewhat cognitive dissonance inducing).

 

His support started good, but it has been pretty tepid in the last several weeks as he tries to keep up the pro-Hamas constituency in Dearborn, Michigan. He needs them, and they probably already have their issues with national Democrats on social issues. I doubt your average Muslim voter is cool with gay porn and drag queens in their schools.
