2020 Recruiting - Football

5-star 2020 Houston North Forest WR Demond Demas visited for WVU
This was his third visit to campus since he verbaled to aggy
The main idea here seems to be that we will be in great shape with him as long as we hold onto his buddy 2019 OL Javonne Shepherd (who is supposed to visit aggy this weekend with their footwork coach)

Shepherd is stressing me out.

6'3 290 from Tomball Memorial
Hand likes him as interior OL
Could probably make some funny t-shirts with he and our kicker

EJ Holland on a couple of 2020 OLs --

.... I exchanged messages with the mother of four-star 2020 Clear Creek product Chad Lindberg, who is a one of the biggest overall priorities for next cycle. She told me that Lindberg is going to spend a lot of time hanging out with four-star 2020 Texas offensive line commit Logan Parr. One of two verbal pledges in the 2020 class, Parr is going to help the Longhorns with recruiting in the trenches, and he is already forming a friendship with Lindberg. This is a great opportunity for Texas to leave a lasting impression on Lindberg and his family.

This is good news. I'm kicking my heels. I'm calling 2020 as the best class of o-lineman in many, many years.:headbang:

Fast-rising 2020 ATH Kelvontay Dixon from Carthage and the younger brother of Keaontay Ingram says Texas is the team to beat in his recruitment. He has been to every home game this season. He is having a good season, will probably get a ratings bump.

Let's see, umm Hudson, Logan Parr, Chad linbergh, kelee Ringo, Zach Evans, Mookie, Damien george, Dwight mcglothern, Elias Rick's, Braden nutter etc. How about that group in 2020.
I have a feeling 2020 will be at least a top 3 class. B C is doing his thing! Parr is recruiting. Move over Alabama.

So the Parr's and Lindberg families were hanging out for the ISU weekend. Emily Lindberg was quoted saying, “they’re so much alike it’s scary.” They all also got together for dinner with Herb Hand. Kasey Studdard (of '05 fame) was also around to spend some time with Lindberg.
The Texas 247 site put in a CB for Lindberg to Texas, whose brother already attends UT. But one sad note is that Stanford might be a player here too.

The Texas 247 site also put in a CB for high 4-star 2020 DB Chris Thompson (6'2,195) of Duncanville. There was some early aggy buzz with him but that seems to be fading. Thompson and his dad were in for ISU and spent time with Craig Naivar and Ra’Shaad Samples. Samples is sort of like like a big brother figure to Thompson and his father, Reginald, is Thompson's HS coach.

Naviar also spent time with 5-star DB Dwight McGlothern who made a surprise visit to Texas over the weekend. He is considered an aggy lean but like Texas too and speaks with Carrington on a regular basis.

Another 2020 whose early aggy lean seems to be fading is 4-star WR Troy Omeire of Fort Bend Austin. He was in for ISU which was his second visit in the last month and he has taken notice of what the offense has been doing with Lil'Jordan Humphrey. He appears to be a priority for us as Herman is personally involved in this recruitment.
