Riley has his act together. He appears to be an elite coach. My hope is the Cowboys fire Garrett and hire Riley. But I think Orlando is better than Stoops at D-Coordinator.

We are in a multi-year malaise and I don't get it either.
 
On the LHN pregame show, they talked about how the Maryland D had 3 or 4 games where they gave up over 250 Yds rushing. Yet we can't seem to get more than 3 yards in one play.

Either our line sucks or our backs suck.
 
Blitz read not happening for our offense. QB or center should be making a read and blocking call, or a quick read pass to the vacated spot.
 
That's an interesting interference call. Davis was looking back and adjusting to the ball. It's almost as if the receiver ran into him when he came back.
 
A flag on a guy who had position AND was going for the ball. If the two players' positions and actions had been switched there, they still would have called it on the defense - seen it hundreds of times.

Exactly. The pass was affected by the rush and was far short. Their WR managed to put on the brakes sooner and tripped up Davis. When a DB does that, he gets flagged - we saw it a million times in 2011/2012 when Ash would underthrow Mike Davis by 10 yards and we'd get a free penalty bonus b/c Davis would run into the defender while they both tried to adjust.

Yea the receiver stopped and he never saw it and ran into it. Not sure if that's technically pass interference, but I'm not sure that's on Davis. That looked like bad luck as much as anything. But now if I'm a receiver, that's my gameplan in good coverage. Stop short, let the guy run into me and get the call.

I might not say this if I wasnt angry but Herman is carrying a couple of assistants who dont belong. If they are not going to recruit, which they dont, then they had better be good position coaches, which they are not
