Spring Ball

Kirk Johnson is basically Fozzy Whittaker at this point. I'm hoping he plays like him if/when he finally sees the field.
Remember when Jordan Shipley was the “ghost” — seemed like forever we had to wait to see him on the field. I really want to see Kirk J healthy, he could be special.

Either the players are setting a different tone in Spring ball...or Herman is.
Impressions given from comments out of camp not the same as last year.
Think we are starting to get a better idea of "what was wrong" last year.
I bet Herman learned a thing or two himself, and I bet we have players who are more sold out to the program/cause. A good combination for year two if true.
A coach trying to get a better grasp of what he's got and what he wants to do along with players who aren't completely committed are the difference between 10-3 and 7-6 in college football. I'd say the latter is the more important of the two...though they usually go hand in hand.

True; but I am not so sure about the quality (physical and mental) of the players Strong recruited and left behind either.

Was it Wheeler that had the wack personal foul call in the Texas Bowl that will carry a half game suspension for Maryland?
