Aggy Just Went Full Aggy

Strong's agent was dealing with idiots, who had no clue what they were doing or anything about coaching contracts. Again, Strong's contract and those of his assistants were gross negligence and borders on criminal.

This has been my point for many years. There is no accountability at the UT admin level.

And Sumlin's agent was dealing with aggy. Which is easier to fool into granting ridiculous contract terms, idiots, or aggy?

Whatever the reason, A&M last won a national championship when Germany attacked Poland. Their two modern era runs of success were followed by severe NCAA sanctions. Their all-time record against Texas is something like 75-35 in Texas favor. It's on and on; yet their ego and bravado is unabated. It's amazing.

It's kind of hard to understand why they can't win big (oh wait, neither can UT)... they have the facilities and a tremendous fan base. I don't think the players are morons like their fans can be but at the same time, what I noticed in the game yesterday (celebrating in a cocky manner) might be the clue; their ego problems. Somebody should have gone over to the players and said, "The game is far from over; we've accomplished nothing. Quit strutting." I really think that's it in a nutshell. They are unable to handle success. We've all seen people not be able to handle power at work before. They over-reach their skill set for whatever reason. It's a mental thing concerning the ego and their self-image. It's the same with A&M.

I'm not a shrink by the way (here it comes); I just play one on TV.

Aggy genuinely doesn't understand why nobody likes them. They think only UT hates their childish behavior, all male cheerleaders, etc. There are grandparents, parents, who act like total buffoons. There's a lot of sec fans from every team here in Austin and they all hate them already. They should be marginally better than they are but if you look at their pansy non-conference schedule over the years and all the home games they somehow get, they really have had so many freebies including this year.

I said it then and I still believe it now, JFF was their 15 minutes of fame.

He was truly one of a kind. No doubt about it. Beating Alabama in Tuscaloosa has got to be his proudest moment. Yet for all his the heroics they still didn't win their division (even with other stars such as Jake Matthews, Luke Joekel, Mike Evans, Ryan Swope, Damontre Moore and Christine Michael; Wow, Coach Sherman didn't leave the cupboard bare did he?). The high water mark was more of a seminal individual than program success.

Well boys, I hate to use Texags as a reference but look what I found:

"Tray doing his celebratory pimp cane walk epitomizes this culture problem. That ish wouldn't fly on Meyer's or Saban's sideline, and Tray is too damn good of a player to be gloating like that."

That's exactly what I'm saying about their program in general: Ego before accomplishment.
