Agreed. And he is very vocal that Sark, “would not let him quit”. For everyone who has played at this level, there has been that f’it moment, I give up. The millions that that paternal advice is worth to a kid translates to big things for a future player or parent. Mom/dad cant be there everyday and knowing Sark has their personal interests at heart is a big deal. DKR wouldnt let a player’s downer moment metastasize to something awful.

This clip from the TCU game shows what JWhitt is about. TCU intercepts, JW misses the tackle on the runner, then gets up, chases him down and knocks the ball out of his hands so his teammates can recover and get the ball back. Without this play we probably lose the TCU game. THE DUDE COMES TO WORK!
