We take the series from the #1 team in the conference on the road, yet lost a series at home to the last-place team. Weird year
Went to bed hoping I would wake up to see Texas held on, and thanks to Mother Nature the Horns do. Ironically in a season where Texas lost weekend or season series to BYU, Washington, and Texas State, they got another huge road series win late yesterday. This team might be a national championship contender if they just didn't play on Fridays or Tuesdays. I still think the Horns need to win 8 of their last ten to not be sitting squarely on the bubble come selection day and with the Friday woes continuing I am not sure how that happens barring someone flipping a switch somewhere. The ladies have been undefeated since they took two of three from OU in softball, baseball needs a similar run.
Wow, had to go to bed when the rain delay hit last night and was hopeful we would hold them off. Great job Horns!!!!
We went into OK and took the series from the conference leaders at their house. I'll take that over a win on Tuesday any day.
This team reminds me of dating in my college days. The guys keep breaking my heart but I keep taking them back, always hoping.
