Considering the graduates of UCLA I know and/or have had to do business with, will he need to take some courses at ACC before enrolling?

Not sure who reported first, but DL Zac Swanson is entering the portal.

IT reported earlier this morning that the staff has already had "the talk" with a few guys about their standing on the roster.

    They weren't given names.

Per IT, a source feels confident in Texas landing TCU DT Damonic Williams.

He's visiting Oklahoma this weekend, but they aren't sure that program can do what it takes to land him.

    Damonic Williams, TCU, Defensive Line

Getting him and Bill Norton from Arizona would be sweet.

Did the early 24 signee for CU see the problems the Buffs are having and decided to jump ship right away?

Horns may want to use a portal slot for a proven defensive back (corner or safety). That group performed the worst in the Orange/White game.

OTF mentioned today they can see up to five more Texas players hit the portal.

To me, these players would be on a “portal watch list.” Many are very talented.

1 or 2 OL. Not sure which.

    Austin Jordan
Savion Red - Just don’t see a fit, but I hope they can keep him.
Ryan Niblett - Should give it another year.
    Warren Roberson
    Jelani McDonald
    Derion Gullette
Vernon Broughton - I don’t understand his missing the game yesterday, to get married. Seems odd.
Tausili Akana - Needs to give it another year.
DeAndre Moore Jr. - Hope not.
Justice Finkley - Would surprise me but the competition has gotten much tougher.
    Jaylon Guilbeau - Hope not.

Hate to see any opt out even though I understand. But as I posted yesterday, I think Sark’s biggest challenge this year is keeping the right guys in house in order to put the best players on the field for a full 60 minutes. There will be a number dissatisfied with playing time. A number, like Savion, one whom I especially like, will look at potentially brighter opportunities elsewhere simply by being on the field more. I don’t envy the decision making Sark is faced with, heck while Arch is (perhaps) very mature in his stance of ‘waiting’ his turn if Quinn has an even mildly substandard game the fans will murmur.
I am ready for an exciting season!

Is this your list or from a pay site?
I can’t see where starters like Guilbeau or Moore would consider the portal. And Roberson and McDonald will see significant playing time this season.
Akana, Red and Finkley, yeah maybe. I am thinking the O-line would more than likely lose Strough?or the one guy left from the TH era.

Conner Stroh and Max Merrill, were the 2 o-line guys I was referring to.

    My list.

I don’t expect for Guilbeau or Moore to be starters.

I don’t think Broughton is leaving. He will start this season after earning good reps last season. This is a good place for him. But the initial reaction to the wedding, in my house at least, was: isn’t there a calendar of events distributed to everyone months if not a year in advance, and couldn’t the wedding be planned for any of the other 35 or so open weekends throughout the year?

My understanding is that Vernon & momma discussed the situation with Sark, and Sark agreed with the reasoning and supported their request.

Enough said unless you want to talk to Momma.

If it's good enough for Sark and Mama, it's good enough for me. After all, it's not like this is Vernon's first Spring with the team.
