I agree that Scottie is by no means a cutthroat killer, obsessed with winning, but it's become very apparent to me that his competitive spirit and determination to win cannot be questioned. Maybe Scottie is creating the blueprint for a kinder, gentler badass MFer.
With regard to Scottie, I’m definitely a homer. I’d love to see greatness over a sustained period of time. We thought that might happen with Jordan, but now it seems unlikely. In golf history only three players can claim double digit victories in majors. The obvious, Jack & Tiger, and Walter Hagen. Only six players have more than 6, including Arnie, Gary Player and Tom Watson. You never know, but it sure seems like Scheffler has the skill set to make a run.
