I don’t believe Schaefer will go into next year with Boutilier and Herron as the fives. Zero experience AND injury history/risks. Nor a freshman. I believe Jones or a transfer will fill that role.

We still need another 5 to replace Hadi. I'm not sure what's going on with Herron, but she hasn't been with them team recently.

Not just to replace Hadi, but to be ready and able to play big minutes the next time Taylor gets nicked up.

I sure hope several of our 2025 and 2026 prospects got to attend our game in Portland on Friday night! I wonder why Aaliyah Chavez is not included among the invitees.

LSU gets a verbal commitment from 2025 combo guard, 5'9 Bella Hines out of New Mexico. She's played on Cy-Fair Elite club team with Justice Carlton and Aaliyah Chavez.

Great players do what their teams need them to do. The needs of a high school team, that repeatedly doesn't advance very far in the playoffs, are quite different from a P5 college program that consistently makes the Elite 8. I'm sure she's capable of conforming.

After Tennessee fired head coach Kelly Harper, 2025 6'1 wing, Niya Brooks out of Virginia decommitted. Blair Schaefer started following her on Instagram as have a lot of other coaches.

Interestingly, TexasWBB account on IG started following her as well, and vice verse. I haven't really looked at TexasWBB account in a couple of months; also shows following 2025 Aaliyah Crump out of Minnesota. That account doesn't typically follow many recruits; perhaps whoever is maintaining is doing things differently than in the past.

We did not make Dee Alexander's Final 3. I believe she visited us unofficially.

Kind of an odd Final 3 for a Top 10 player.

Uhhhhh….a lot of coaches selling the “Caitlyn Clark-Build a Powerhouse” narrative.

Wow. Good for Cincinnati! I was very impressed with their coach after their game in Austin this past season.
